From quantum computing to project management and a shipping company manufactures aircraft components
Jannik joined our team in August 2024 and stepped straight into the role of project manager on one of our largest industrial projects. His background: He studied physics at Leibniz University Hannover, specialising in quantum physics, after which he worked as a development engineer in specialised machinery construction, where he most recently took on responsibility for a major client project in the field of lidar sensors. He has also recently been certified as a Certified Project Management Associate
by the International Project Management Association.
His start with us has been particularly successful: without a long transition phase, he quickly took on responsibility in a complex project environment.
Today, he manages work packages for large projects, coordinates communication across all internal departments and acts as the central point of contact for external partners and the client. In doing so, he keeps a close eye on all stakeholders, resources, deadlines, as well as changes and risks.
Despite some complex coordination and dynamic requirements, this is precisely what drives him: the interdisciplinary collaboration and the technical challenge of delivering a tangible project success.
Or as he puts it himself: You grow into the responsibility faster than you might initially think.
A particular highlight of one project: Due to the temporary transfer of responsibility for a CMC system
as part of a retrofit, besecke even formally manufactured aircraft components.
